CanWest 2017 marks the 36th year of Western Canada’s largest horticulture show. It is a healthy, vibrant, regional show attracting 3,000 delegates representing landscape professionals, municipalities, garden centres and wholesale nursery and greenhouse growers from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Exhibiting companies range from regional businesses to internationally known companies selling brand name products. CanWest is managed by the BC Landscape & Nursery Association and is strongly supported by its local industry. Profits go directly to the association to benefit BC’s horticulture industry through advocacy, lobbying, professional training and certification, setting standards and helping members build their business while also offering many discount savings programs.

CanWest is the single largest horticulture event in BC spanning two days. This show is about connecting, building relationships and making sales. Tradex – BC’s Horticulture Hub
The 2017 show is taking place at Tradex Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, BC.

Tradex is situated in the heart of British Columbia’s picturesque Fraser Valley. It is just 50 minutes from Vancouver and immediately adjacent to the Abbotsford International Airport (YXX). This location resides closest to the hub of BC’s horticultural industry; it is a large facility that is easy to access, has the space that allows the show to grow both indoor and outdoor. Show Features
CanWest has grown to include an outdoor equipment demonstration zone where you can try out both large and small equipment.

The show will also feature a Greenhouse Zone which which fetures the latest structures and technology for growers.

Comprehensive Show
The 3-day extensive education program sells nearly 1,000 seats. The program includes the Landscape Designers Symposium, Urban Foresters Symposium, a full day hands on workshop for building retaining walls, along with seminars tailored for landscapers, retailers, municipalities and greenhouse growers.

New Products Featured
This is your opportunity to showcase your new product to the BC market. This feature area has the best real estate on the floor, positioned front and center along the main aisle. CanWest will once again award the best new plant and best new product decided upon by attendees.

There are a variety of booth sizes and prices to match any budget. A standard booth costs just $995 for BCLNA members and $1,295 for non-members. Equipment suppliers can take advantage of a 50% discount on indoor space when outdoor space is booked. There are no drayage fees. Forklift service is free. Special hotel rates have been negotiated for CanWest exhibitors at the Sandman Abbotsford Airport Hotel – just $95/night and that includes a hot breakfast each day. Abbotsford offers a number of great restaurants without the big city price.

Booth Assignment
All returning exhibitors have selected their 2016 booths. All first time exhibitors will be assigned space on a first-come, first-serve basis. A 50% booth deposit is due upon receipt of the booth space contract with payment balance due by May 2 2016. Full payment is required for contracts received after May 2nd.
