Free parking is available to all exhibitors. Overnight parking is also available for exhibitors with large trucks and vehicles.

Move-In & Move-Out
Tradex provides 4 main points of entry into the exhibit hall making it one of the easiest buildings to move-into and move-out of. We expect an easy, fast and efficient move in!

  • Move-In:
    September 26: 5:00 am – 5:00 pm
    Designated move-in times will be given to each exhibitor in August.
  • Move Out: September 28: 5:00 pm -Midnight & September 29: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm

IMPORTANT NOTE: All exhibitors must be moved out by 12:00 Noon on Friday Sept 29.

Hotels & Travel
The main hotel room block is at the Sandman Abbotsford Airport Hotel in Abbotsford. This is a new hotel located on Mt Lehman Road – just minutes away from Tradex. Check out the ‘Hotels & Travel’ page for all the details and stellar rates.

RV Overnight Parking Available at Tradex
Tradex has an RV Site! Reservations are available on a first come, first serve basis. The reservation form is found under ‘Services Offered at Tradex’.

Best in Show Booth Awards Judging
Wednesday, September 27

Each year CanWest exhibitors compete to have their booth display awarded ‘Best in Show’. Use the show theme to provide the design inspiration for your booth. All the details regarding the award categories and judging criteria can be found in the ‘Exhibitor Manual’. Winners of each category will receive a $200 discount off their 2018 booth. The overall winner wins a free ‘10 x 10’ booth for the 2018 Show.

Exhibitor Liability Insurance Required– Are You Covered? Be sure you have adequate coverage for your booth at CanWest (Min $2,000,000 Liability). Your commercial liability insurance would have coverage under their policies for trade shows – be sure that we are on your policy as an additional insured as BC Landscape & Nursery Association. For those that don’t have insurance, you can contact HUB International directly or apply online

For your convenience, all the required forms for exhibiting at CanWest are placed online as they become available. These forms are generated from the BCLNA, along with the services offered by our host venue, Tradex & Global Convention Services, our show decorator, Levy Show Services and our registration service provider, Conexsys Registration Systems. Wireless Internet Service
Wireless internet connections can be ordered through Boingo Wireless. While onsite connect to the ‘boingo hotspot’ open your internet browser and follow the instructions.

Special Note About Balloons
Due to being located on airport property and the potential for interference with local air traffic, Tradex does not permit the handing out of air or helium filled balloons. Exceptions are made to allow exhibitors to display their balloons with their booth area. For details, please see the ‘Balloon Waiver’ form found under ‘Services Offered at Tradex’

Show Decorator – Levy Show Services
Levy Show Services provides all the décor you need for your booth (carpet, chairs, tables etc). Get your orders in by September 14 for best rates. You can order online or by faxing your completed forms. Levy will be onsite during move-in and throughout the show for any last minute orders.

Shipping & Brokerage
Need transportation and/or brokerage services to get your booth material to the show? You can ship with any company as long as they abide by the ‘move-in’ schedule. Booth material can’t be shipped to Tradex in advance as there are no shipping /receiving services or warehouse space. Your material must be delivered on move in day, Sept 27, at your specified move-in time.

If you are shipping from the US, please include the CBSA ‘Letter of Recognition’ when travelling and include with your shipping documents.
